Danielle Douglas

With the introduction to retail so early, I pursued and received a BS in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Delaware. I worked in the buying world for over 7 years in a few different capacities with companies such as: Life is Good, CCS, Motherhood Maternity and Global Pursuit. The love of independent retail never left me, and after moving to Los Angeles I joined forces with RMSA & then Management One™ as a retail consultant for independent retailers in 2012.

 

Guiding over 100m in annual sales revenue and inventory for retailer’s and wholesalers, I thrive off of the individual challenges each one has. Most of my clients see an increase in cash flow with an overall better understanding of their business’ pain points and strengths. Essentially with the help of utilizing Management One’s ™ inventory planning software, I’ve been able to successfully leverage a client’s strengths while mitigating their weaknesses equating to more cash in their account (or towards that vacation they’ve always wanted).  After each meeting, my clients leave with a clear agenda on how to continue making their businesses better.

 

I always knew working with independent retailers was what I enjoyed most. I find each type of retailer unique, and I like the challenge of being able to bring a different perspective to the table. Along with my love for the independent retailer, I occasionally teach buying classes at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and have done a variety of workshops for clients and their teams ranging from buying clinics, to team structuring, to assortment planning/market prep and more.

Holly Rosenthal

With 18 years of experience working in both corporate and independent retail, I have firsthand knowledge of the modern retail landscape.  I have personally overseen all aspects of store development from conception to opening, and the many exciting hurdles in between (including hiring, training, growth, inventory management, and financial analysis).  From entry-level to leadership, I have experienced the headwinds and learned the value of strategic planning for long-term success.  Most recently, I worked for a major retail brand, overseeing operations of 14 stores, 200+ employees, and over $40M in revenue.

KC Wolfe

I have over 15 years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on women’s and men’s apparel and accessories. With my area of expertise specifically in inventory management and merchandise planning, I know how difficult it can be to navigate trends and manage inventory to ensure a profitable and healthy business.

My career started at Ralph Lauren as a buyer for childrenswear where I led the business to double digit year over year growth through sku expansion and strategic web merchandising initiatives. I then went on to manage a team of planners at Urban Outfitters, overseeing a $100M+ annual revenue business with over 5000+ skus, covering in stock management in 300 stores and facilitating the booming growth of the online business. Most recently, I was the lead of a consumer electronic division at Amazon focusing on long term strategic growth and supply chain management for the worldwide business at both Amazon.com as well as their offline retail partners.

I particularly enjoy the balance of the creativity and financial analysis. With an eye for fashion, and a sharp analytical skill set, I can offer creative solutions to problems that are unique to your business.
